DRESMARA hotel can accommodate 80 persons at a time.
Each course participant lives in a two-room-suite (bedroom, living room and bathroom) with home-like comforts: furniture, TV set, computer connected to the Internet, refrigerator and cable TV.
There are also laundry rooms (on the first, third and fourth floor) and a kitchen (on the second floor). Other amenities such as clubs with pool tables, tennis tables and a fitness equipment are also available.
Course participants wear civilian clothing - coat and tie or equivalent - to class. Uniforms are required for certain activities, when notified, since most social activities, require only formal civilian dress. Seasonal clothing is recommended.
The year round climate of the Brasov County is characterized by temperatures ranging from 10 to 30 degrees Celsius during the daytime, and from 1 to 15 degrees Celsius (or even cooler as the case may be) at night. It frequently rains between October- December and July through August. Snow should be expected from December through April.
Meals can be served at the Air Force Academy Mess Hall (on request) or down-town.
Emergency medical care is available at the “Henri Coandă” Air Force Academy Cabinet. Other medical services are provided by the Saint Mary’s Military Hospital, Brasov.
Each attendee shall receive all necessary information from the Educational Planning, Public and International Relations Office. The latter also assists with check-in and check-out procedures, accommodates course participants in DRESMARA hotel, arranges for issuance of identification and access cards, helps with pay and allowances for international participants, assists with travel arrangements and handles other miscellaneous administrative matters.
