On 19 December 2008 the Regional Department of Defense Resources Management Studies hosted the Graduation Ceremony of the eighteenth series of the Postgraduate Defense Resources Management Course for Senior Officials and the eleventh series of the Management and NATO Terminology Course. The event was attended by DRESMARA faculty and staff, course attendants, local governmental and non-governmental representatives and the mass-media representatives. |

On 21 November 2008, the Regional Department of Defense Resources Management Studies hosted the 3rd Annual International Session of Scientific Papers entitled "The Impact of Integrated Defense Resources Management upon the Accomplishment of International Missions and Its Synthetic Indicators-Based Quantification". The event is part of the grant no. 229/2006 on "The influence of the integrated defense resources management upon the accomplishment of the Romanian Troops' missions within international military actions" concluded with the National Counsil of Academic Scientific Research. |

On 4 November 2008, the Regional Department of Defense Resources Management Studies was visited by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, His Excellency mr. Seyran Ohanyan, who was accompanied by a military visiting group. The schedule of events included official talks with the DRESMARA leadership regarding the Romanian - Armenian cooperation in the field of military education and defense resources management policies. |

On 12 May 2008 the Regional Department of Defense Resources Management Studies and The Bloomfield College of United States signed an agreement on the exchange and cooperation in the field of education that permits the exchange of professional staff members and academic information between the signatory institutes. |

Between 12 May – 18 May 2008 the Regional Department of Defense Resources Management Studies is hosting the international seminar "Crisis Management and Conflict Prevention" (CMCP) organized by the PfP Consortium of Defense Academies and Security Studies Institute and by the “Carol I” National Defense University. This seminar is part of the project “Mobile Contact Teams" (MCT) conducted by the Regional Stability in the Greater Black Sea Area Working Group (RSGBSA - WG). The instructors and attendees of this seminar come from Armenia, Azerbaidjan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Germany, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova, USA and Romania. |

On 05 March 2008 the Regional Department of Defense Resources Management Studies was visited by the NATO Training Group Joint Services Sub-Group (NTG JSSG). Delegations from NATO and PfP member countries, as well as by representatives of SACT, SHAPE, PCC, Mediterranean Dialog, and JSSG subordinated subgroups. |

Between 03 March - 16 May 2008 the fifth series of Postgraduate Information Resources Management Course (CIO) was conducted and attended by representatives of various structures within the Ministry of Defense and the Romanian Intelligence Service. |

On 25 February 2008 His Royal Highness Radu, Prince of Romania, Special Representative of the Romanian Government, Colonel and PhD in military sciences delivered a presentation on the topic "Leadership, Security, Democracy and Freedom". The activity was attended by the academic staff from the Regional Department of Defense Resources Management Studies, as well as by staff and students from Henri Coanda Air Force Academy. The event was organized and hosted by the Regional Department of Defense Resources Management Studies. |
