Field Trip

The participants in the Information Security Management Postgraduate Course, ACT 675.17., military and civilian personnel from NATO partner countries and Romania - Ministry of National Defence and Romanian Information Service, accompanied by COL eng Vasilescu Cezar, professor, PhD and course director, carried out documentary visit in Garrison of Bucharest on 06 and 07 February, 2025, as follows:

• on 06 February:
  • at the "Carol I" National Defense University, where the representative of the National Directorate of Cyber Security presented the role of competent authority at national level for the security of networks and IT systems that ensure the provision of essential services or provide digital services, as well as aspects related to standards and regulations in the field of cyber security at national level;
  • at the Directorate of Communications and Information Technology where aspects related to cyber security and defense measures, capabilities for the mission execution environment and multi-domain operations were presented.
• on 07 February:
  • at the Cyberint National Center within the Romanian Information Service where the institution's role in the national cyber defense system, its involvement in educational activities and specific software tools were presented.
