Defence Enhancement Education Programme - Azerbaijan

Between 29- 31 May 2024, Ms. Aura CODREANU, associate professor, PhD, participated, as a member of DEEP Faculty Development Group and expert in professional military education, in the Annual Review of Defence Enhancement Education Programme Azerbaijan. The event was conducted in Baku, the Republic of Azerbaijan and hosted by the National Defense University. The goal of the meeting was to review the 2023-2024 DEEP activities, as well as to discuss NDU and subordinated structures’ aspirations for 2024-2025.

Mrs. Codreanu presented the goals and objectives of Foundational Faculty Development Programme (FFDP) and Master Instructor Programme (MIP) conducted by the DEEP Faculty Development Group for NATO partner countries.

One prominent topic discussed during the meeting was the organization and conduct of the international conference on “Contribution of DEEP to the Reforms of the Defence and Security Sector” to be conducted in October 2024 in Baku, the Republic of Azerbaijan.
