COVID-19 Defence Education Distance Learning – best practices and lessons learned strategy development conference

During 12-14 April 2021, the director of DRESMARA, COL Florin-Eduard GROSARU, professor, PhD, COL eng. Cezar VASILESCU, professor, PhD, and COL Denis-Nicolae FLORESCU participated in the proceedings of the "COVID-19 Defence Education Distance Learning - best practices and lessons learned strategy development conference", held in online format.

The conference, coordinated by NATO International Staff / Operations Division / Defence Institution & Capacity Building Directorate and the University of War Studies / Warsaw, Poland, was part of NATO's Defence Education Enhancement Programme (DEEP), in which DRESMARA participates in the field of education and training to support NATO partner states.

The event, which was attended by about 200 representatives of military educational institutions, command and force structures from over 35 NATO and partner states, was dedicated to the analysis of best practices and lessons learned on the conduct of the online military educational process in NATO, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The aim of the conference was to develop educational strategies and their implementation in the online training process, as well as to support and extend these concepts to partner states.
