Cyber Defense Support - DEEP Republic of North Macedonia
Between the 14th and 17th July 2019, COL eng. VASILESCU Cezar, professor, PhD, the Director of the Postgraduate School of Studies / DRESMARA, has participated as a guest speaker in NATO's assistance activities in the field of cyber defense, offered to the Republic of North Macedonia as a PfP member.
The activity, organized by the Defense Institution and Capacity Building Directorate / Operations Division / NATO International Staff through NATO Defence Education Enhancement Programme (DEEP), consisted of supporting the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of North Macedonia for the institutionalization of cyber security center within "General Mihailo Apostolski" Military Academy - Skopje.
During the activity, there were discussed the following topics:
- presentation of the concept, needs and the status of the Institute for Cyber Security and Digital Forensics (ICSDF);
- presentation of DRESMARA and Romania’s experience in development and implementation of similar institutions;
- best models for institutionalization of the ICSDF, possible areas of cooperation and further activities.
