"Innovation through Technology in the Public Sector" Conference

On March 15, 2018, MAJ Florin OGÎGĂU-NEAMŢIU participated in the 13th edition of the "Innovation through technology in the public sector" Conference

The event, organized at J W Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel, was attended by representatives of the central public administration (government, foreign ministry, National Authority for Administration and Regulation in Communications/ANCOM, etc.) as well as from private IT companies in Romania.

Discussions carried out highlighted the level and use of technology in public administration, trying to identify strategies and mechanisms to improve its effectiveness and efficiency.

Private company representatives presented solutions for possible technical equipment, new technology asset management architectures, IT outsourcing capabilities to enhance the competitiveness and resilience of systems. In this regard, in order to increase the digitization in the public sector, Employrs’ Association of the Software and Services Industry (ANIS), with the support of the Prime Minister Chancellery and National Agency for Public Procurement (ANAP), has developed a software procurement guide, aiming to provide benchmarks to the public entities involved in the software acquisition activity.
