NATO PARTNERSHIP TRAINING AND EDUCATION CENTERS COMMANDANTS’ CONFERENCE (PTEC CC)
and NATO TRAINING SYNCHRONISATION CONFERENCE (TSC 18)
Budapesta, HUNGARY, February 19 – 23, 2018

DRESMARA Director Colonel GROSARU Florin-Eduard, Professor PhD, attended the NATO Partnership Training and Education Centers Commandants’ Conference (PTEC CC), organized by the Allied Command for Transformation (ACT) and NATO School Oberammergau (NSO) in Budapest, Hungary between 21 and 24 February 2017.

The conference aimed to establish education and individual training cooperation directions as set out by the NATO Council.

During the conference the following issues were addressed:

  • the modalities of regional PTEC cooperation on areas of interest that coincide with NATO priorities (Languages, Counter Terrorism, Emerging Security Challenges, Counter IED, Projecting Stability, Cultural Awareness);
  • the effective use of NATO electronic platforms for PTEC better promotion their education offers;
  • PTEC contribution to addressing emerging threats through their education and individual training programs;
  • efficient use of NATO „Train the Trainer” and „Instructor Exchange” programs available to PTEC trough NSO;
  • strengthening cooperation with the United Nations Organization.

At the same time, between February 21 and 23, 2018, the DRESMARA Director attended NATO Training Synchronization Conference (TSC 18), the flagship NATO Training and Education event.

The TSC was an excellent forum to bring together Education and Training (E&T) specialists from the NATO Command Structure (NCS) and NATO Force Structure (NFS) HQs, together with Allied and Partner Nations to discuss the latest developments across the whole spectrum of E&T.

HQ SACT aimed to improve the cooperation and coordination between the various strands of NATO’s E&T activity (Policy, Individual Training and Exercises).
