COL Daniel SORA

Current Position:

Military professor in the Regional Department of Defense Resources Management Studies – Braşov, Romania.

COL. Daniel SORA is a military professor in the Regional Department of Defense Resources Management Studies Braşov and responsible for Information Resources Management Course.  Prior to his appointment to this position in October 2008, he had served as Senior Instructor at Romanian National Defense University “Carol I” Bucharest. He had worked in the Air Forces Academy for 16 years before joining the Regional Center of Defense Resources Management staff. During his military career, he had specialized in Automatics, Soil to Air Missile systems and Defense and Information Resources Management.

COL. Daniel SORA graduated from the Electrical Engineering Faculty, Brasov in 1998. From September 2005, he has been senior instructor at the Regional Center of Defense Resources Management in Brasov, where he has been teaching courses in Defense Resources Management, Decision Making Theory and Information Resources Management. He is used to working with Romanian and foreign students participants at postgraduate defense resources management courses. He graduated in 2007 from the Advanced Management Program (11 weeks) organized by the Information Resources Management College, National Defense University, Washington DC, USA. He graduated in 2003 the Military Observer Course organized by School for Peace Operations, Amersfoort, Netherlands .
