NATO accredited five of DRESMARA's courses
The Regional Department of Defense Resources Management Studies (DRESMARA) has received the accreditation letter for five of its courses from the Supreme Allied Commander Transformation / Education and Individual Training Branch. The document acknowledges that the following courses were assessed as eligible to be accredited as „NATO SELECTED”:
- Postgraduate Defense Resources Management Course for Senior Officials;
- Postgraduate Information Resources Management Course for Senior Officials (CIO);
- Planning, Programming, Budgeting, Evaluation System (PPBES) Postgraduate Course;
- Program and Project Management Postgraduate Course;
- Information Security Management Postgraduate Course.
The accreditation of DRESMARA’s courses as“NATO SELECTED” represents a recognition on behalf of NATO that DRESAMARA’s educational programs measure up to the following standards:
- The courses meet NATO’s needs to train its personnel in the specific fields of each of the educational programs;
- The aims and scientific contents of the courses are aligned to the general and specific requirements of NATO misisons;
- All quality standards established through „NATO Directive Bi-SC D 75-7 – Education and Individual Training” are met.
- All of the aforementioned courses will be included in the Education and Training Opportunities Catalogue.
DRESMARA, which last year celebrated its 10th anniversary, is a postgraduate academic institution of the Ministry of National Defense subordinated to the National Defense University "Carol I" and one of the 21 PfP centers functioning worldwide. Romania is the only country that has two such centers.
